Online classes have one LAFD requirement:
ALL participants MUST use & maintain an active video camera display of themselves during the active training part of the course.
NOTE: Anyone that does not, cannot receive a certification.
There will also be NO REFUND if student/s decide to exit the class or "simulate" participation.
Space need to be reserved by online registration ONLY.
If you pay online, your seat is guaranteed.

The blue & pink certification cards will be filled out shortly after the class and they will be mailed out the following day.

WHAT IS A FIRE CARD?
LA Fire Code Section 57.113.09
Mandates Fire Safety Training for ALL Hospital and Convalescent home emloyees.
Hospital employees must take 6 hour training course every 4 years.
A blue fire card is issued & must read "hospital fire/life safety training".
A pink fire card is issued & must read "institutional fire/life safety training".
This Creativeresol-ve Educational Course in partnership with HSFI will provide both BLUE & PINK FIRE CARD.
Important note:
It has been the practice of the LAFD to recognize the HOSPITAL FIRE AND LIFE SAFETY TRAINING VERIFICATION CARD (BLUE CARD) which issued to individuals who attend the 6-hour Hospital Fire Safety class as valid for individuals who work or will work in Skilled Nursing/Convalescent or Psychiatric/Behavioral Care Facilities.
